For a moment, step back with me in time. The first crude push carts appeared on the scene not long after early man invented the wheel. That was some time back.
Some of us remember it from flicks of scenes of melodramas set in the 1500's to 1900's with cobblestone streets and gaslights. That too was a while ago.
Closer to today our grandparents remember it at the beginning of the 20th century or even laden with apples during the great depression of the 1920's.
Today it has become an extremely versatile tool of both industry and play. It can be found in retail malls selling everthing from jewelry to books. Some can be found too at poolside laiden with barbeque and fixin's on July the fourth. Yet again, it acts as a concession stand at high school ball games. The truth is that the "old fashioned push cart" can be spelled v-e-r-s-a-t-i-l-e.
